About the Show
We Talk To Ourselves is an undertaking, a labor of love really by a group of friends who enjoy movies, comics, tabletop role-playing games, and generally being terrible people.
Personalities
Eric - Engineer, host, fanatic. A number of these words describe Eric, but in any case he tends to be a stable center in a whirlpool of madness. It's his job to keep the show trucking along at all costs, and to ensure it gets relatively clean in the editing process.
Chris - What Chris lacks in emotion, he makes up for in snark. Chris has recently had his robotic soul replaced completely by an apparatus that dispenses extruded sarcasm. Delicious, pasty sarcasm.
Eli - There are no words to describe Eli that would give you a sense of the truth behind the thin mask of insanity that hangs over his otherwise pretty face. Spewing forth a stream of consciousness monologue in every breath, Eli brings the inane ramblings of a mental patient, but the comic savant knowledge of a super nerd. A truly terrifying beast we have captured.
Phil - Phil is an artist in the truest sense of the word. Every bit of his contribution is a metered, well thought out response, which contrasts sharply with the verbal diarrhea that normally permeates the show. Phil is the proverbial anchor in the harbor, even if we're pretty sure he hates everything.
Thomas - Thomas is a middle ground between the calm, metered nature and random insanity. Possessing all of the strengths and none of the weaknesses of the others in the group, Thomas is truly a daywalkeresque podcast hybrid of epic proportions. He also has a pretty epic beard too.
Hunter - Our occasional guest. Husband, Game Master, Writer, Car Guy. Hunter has many fingers in many pies, and just like Eli, we aren't exactly sure if all those fingers are his.
Ryan - You can hear his voice in our stingers, and occasionally on the podcast. Ryan has a rich, baritone voice that is curiously developed. It's as if he ate Don LaFontane's soul, raw, with maybe a little ketchup.
