Episode 11: Bitchin' Robot Hands!

On this episode of We Talk To Ourselves:

  • Dwayne Johnson.  Has he come from some far away world to save us with his entertaining presence?  Is he truly a Furyan, like that Vin Diesel guy?  We talk about everyone's favorite Rock monster.
  • Actors who seem like genuinely nice people.  More common than you would think.
  • Firefly:  We talk about it so the healing can begin.
  • M. Night Shymalan: Y u so bad at movies?
  • Superpowers: What ones we would want, and how we would use them for good/evil/trolling.
Hour one went a little short, but we make up for it in hour 2.

Episode 10: Ghandi is a Dick [Spoilers]

In this episode of We Talk To Ourselves:

  • Dreams.  Why are they so weird?  Is it because we're crazy or is it because our brains are a big bowl of life soup that just keeps on sloshing up strange and wonderful things?  The crew talks about some of their weird dreams, and why they think they happen.
  • Comics aren't for GIRLS!  Or at least that's what Todd McFarlane, Gerry Conway, and Mark Millar say.  The guys talk about how you can't be much more wrong, and have a nice lengthy discussion about women in refrigerators.
  • Phil Reviews: Flashpoint Paradox, a new entry in the DC Animated universe based on the Flashpoint comic series that ushered in the New 52.  This review will contain spoilers, I didn't have time to make a warning, so if you want to skip the spoilers, scrub over to 17 minutes and 50 seconds in hour 2.
  • GamesCom 2013.  The largest industry event for interactive entertainment, or as I call it, those damn vidja games.  The guys talk about some of the big titles they're excited about coming in the next few months.
  • And much more random!
No outtake this week since we weren't funny enough.
